There are many health benefits of lemons that have been known for centuries. The biggest characteristics of lemons’ are strong antibacterial, antiviral, and immune-boosting powers and their use as a weight loss aid because lemon juice is a digestive aid and liver cleanser.
Lemons contain many substances such as: citric acid, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and bioflavonoids, that promote immunity and fight infection.These are well-known behind the scenes facts about lemons, but there’s so much more to this little yellow fruit. Here are a few of many home remedies that I bet you didn’t know and will change your perspectives on lemons (Note: these remedies are safe and natural, but if acne is severe or there are open wounds, consult your doctor first). Overall, one is able to come to a conclusion that lemons aren’t just any ordinary ol’ fruit … lemons are THE holy grail of fruits. Don’t be a lemon and use lemons.
